BRIEF REPORTS FROM MCGN GLOBAL POINTS

EUROPE
Received and reproduced below the following letter from Bro. Professor Prabhu Guptara, Wolfsberg Executive Development Centre in Switzerland, for interested readers.

"Dear colleague,
You may be interested to see my personal report for the last half-year or so, which I append below.
As usual, if any of the "Publications" interests you, I will be happy to send you a free copy of it, though as things have been changing so fast, I have not been able to publish as much as I like.
My own little contribution to the preparations for the Johannesburg Summit on Sustainable Development was the release of the CD-ROM of my lecture at the University of Zurich (organized by the Dozentenforum) on the topic "Making the World Better: What it does NOT happen..and what TO DO about it"; (this is available from rbadertscher@coba.ch.
This is the first time that I am "promoting" one of my own products (as distinct from making things available free if they interest you), so I ought to make it clear that all proceeds from the sale of the CD-ROM go to charitable purposes in India.
I look forward whenever possible to catching up with your own news!
Yours sincerely,
prabhu."

INDIA: MIZORAM, AIZAWL
Pu Vanneihtluanga (Tluanga), author of "Pig Theology", explained to us how he wrote that theology to challenge the general Mizo public. Tluanga is the publisher of "Lengzem" magazine. Also, he is interested to receive the MCGN Newsletters. Thanks to Pu Tluanga.

Received a thoughtful letter from Pu Lalchuailova, the publisher of Maknet Weekly, a Christian magazine in Mizo. We do appreciate such letters and thanks to Pu Chuailova. May we stand firm in His truth alone.

INDIA: SHILLONG
Rev. P.C. Muanthanga, coordinator of North East India Harvest Network (NEIHN), is getting busy for the Lord's Kingdom. Using his own words, "Let's praise God for breaking through our world filled with violence, corruption and moral degradation to show Himself on behalf of His own chosen one". Good to hear from Muana.

JAPAN
Pu Lalhruaia (Hruaia), MCGN-Japan coordinator, sent supporting and encouraging letters. He specifically wrote prayer needs in MCGN ministry.

MYANMAR
Rev. Dr. Laithuama, MCGN-Myanmar coordinator, wrote a letter of thanks for his prayer request. His daughter was sick the last three years and even her doctor could not find its cause. In response to a prayer request in our Newsletter, they felt that she was healed. Praise the Lord! May God continue to give her health and a long life for His glory.

NEPAL
From Pokhara, Pu Lallura (Lura) reported that eleven people were baptized. One of them, a 16-year-old boy, was disowned by his family. We now praise God that the boy's mother and sister are now going to church. The very little church Pu Lura and friends built a few months ago is now being used mightily by the Lord. Praise God!

Received a very encouraging news from Pu Laltlankima (Tlana) of Kathmandu. People love to read his posting of Ngeni's personal testimony in his office. Pray that the testimonial message will open the hearts of the readers to receive the Lord's spiritual blessings.

USA: HEADQUARTERS
Pastor Rualchhina (Pu Ruala) Vangchhia, MCGN Spiritual Adviser, arranged translation of a Burmese letter into English. Thanks to Pu Ruala.

We had a combined quarterly and monthly meeting on September 13, 2002 at the Mualchin's residence. It was a good time. We felt kind of sad as Jeff and Kim Mead will be moving away to the east coast. We will miss them. We wish them all the best in the Lord. May they continue to serve the Lord there as they did here in California.

Lately, Liana is very busy in his office work so we could not do many things we wanted to do, including sending out this newsletter. Thank and praise God, we are in excellent health. We are preparing to visit Mizoram with missionary Bob Harrison in Nov-Dec. 2002. We need your prayers and support for this trip.

Denise Segor forwarded an appeal letter for peace movement. Denise is one of the research team members who returned back to Mizoram to collect information for her doctoral dissertation.

Received a call from a Mizo graduate student, Ms.Judith Pachuau from Vermont. She believes that her coming to study there is the will of God and trusts that God will be with her in all she does. We completely concur with her and may God continues to strengthen and bless her.

We were encouraged to visit Pastor Bruce Moore and Dee Dee Moore. Pastor Bruce is busy as usual, now remodelling his house for more use for his ministry. His mission team for International marketing is ready. We are thankful that the marketing is open to us for selling Mizo products. We are excited that the Lord is opening the door in this way and we want to make full use of this for Christian missions.

A meeting with Rev. & Mrs. Bob and Connie Harrison was very special for us. When Bob met Liana a few months ago, he sensed a call to help us very much like a call Apostle Paul received to go to Macedonia (Europe). Bob & Connie are the kind of people who want to help those who are in need. Because of their encouragment, we (Bob, Liana, & Ngeni) are going to Mizoram next month, November 2002. Today (Oct. 13), we heard Bob preaching in Chinese and were amazed how well he spoke! His parents were missionaries in Tibet. He was born and lived there 12 years, more than 60 years ago! Bob and Connie are tent-makers or missionaries serving in Tibet, China, and among Nepalese Christians in India. May God continue to bless their work in these places and also their partnership in Mizoram.
