“The harvest is truly plentiful, but the laborers are few.  Therefore pray the Lord

of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest” (Mt. 9:37-38)

THANKS & PRAISES:

BRIEF REPORTS MCGN GLOBAL POINTS:

INDIA-MIZORAM:
Preparation of the Electronic Bible (in Mizo) is in progress. Sometime things go very slowly in Mizoram. We hope and pray that it will be completed soon.

Liana and Ngeni received an encouraging healing ministry letter from their good friend, Pu C. Ropianga, Deputy Commissioner of Aizawl. God is doing mighty things through him.  We need to see the power of God in Christian ministries. What we need most in Mizoram is a miracle; a transformation for individuals to live a holy life, "That the World May Know!".

We received by email a completed Mizo translation of Sensei, translated by Pi Nongheli (Novi) and her hushand, Pu Kharmawia (Mawia). It is an excellent translation which will be enjoyed by readers. Liana Mualchin will write a forwarding note and will request David Hitt (copyright owner of  Sensei and son of  the author, the late Russell Hitt) to send a short story about Russell for the Mizo Sensei book. Also, Liana will ask missionary Jim Blocksom in Kyoto, Japan to write something about Sensei, whose real name was Irene Wesbster-Smith.  Jim knew her personally.

JAPAN:
Liana Mualchin talked to Pu Lalhruaia (Hruaia), MCGN-Japan Coordinator. They were trying to have a special meeting for MCGN-Japan but were advised to incorporate it into their regular Sunday meetings. Rev. Joseph Raltong, our secretary there, is trying to arrange a place for the meeting. Our members in Japan are all very busy in their work and are doing well.

NEPAL:
We received encouraging communications from Nepal. There is no space here to share all of it, but we want you to know that they are our heroes for the Lord. Some of you may not be aware of the challenging problems they face. Please pray fervently for them as they are serving the Lord Jesus Christ. We may not be able to do big things for them, such as financial help, but we all can pray for them. Some missionaries live in relatively peaceful areas, but others are going through problems. We need to pray for them "That the World May Know!

USA:
We would like to congratulate our friend Willia Glover for earning her Ph.D. degree from the Fielding Institute. Willia is one of the research members who went to Mizoram. She is a wonderful Christian. Willia, wishing you all the best and may the Lord bless you always!

We received from our spiritual advisor, Pastor Rualchhina, that an MCGN unit was started in Maryland, USA in conjunction with a meeting for the MLT participants. As all the elected persons were not present, we have not been able to determine their status. However, the following leaders were reported: Pu. Tluangkima, Pu Lianthuama, Nl. Rochami (Mami), Tv. Puia, Pu. Vanliana, and Pu Rawngbawla.

Ms. Sangpari Mualchin (Partei) will not be able to start training with CityTeam Ministries now as they do not have any openings for an international student at this time. She will go back to Mizoram for the time being, and we hope that she will return to California for the September training session. Pray things will go well for Partei.

Another powerful missionary book, Cannibal Valley, by Russel Hitt was given to MCGN with permission to translate it into Mizo. Pray that someone will volunteer to do the job.

MCGN Board meeting will be held on March 15, 2002.
