development of the people in Mizoram and the surrounding region by serving them
as Jesus did (Mt. 20:28).

BRIEF REPORTS AND COMMENTS FROM MCGN GLOBAL POINTS:
INDIA: MIZORAM:
We received several emails from Mizoram during March. They are planning to purchase a printer for the MCGN’s office, and they are working on publishing a journal/magazine.
JAPAN:
MCGN leaders in Japan are communicating with Ron Adhikari in Taiwan regarding the visit of Evangelist Vanlalnghaka to Japan, taking advantage of his visit to Taiwan.
USA:
Dilip Bhattacharyya was with the Mualchin family for the past six weeks (February 11 to March 27) sketching illustrations for a book on Mizoram. Liana Mualchin will continue writing the text according to the outline he has already prepared.
At the request of Liana Mualchin, Park Community Church (PCC) allowed Dilip to sketch interested church members who wanted to make donations in support of MCGN and Dilip. PCC donated about three hundred dollars.
Lisa and Tim Mualchin, students at the University of California, Davis, are new life members of MCGN. They are children of Liana and Ngeni Mualchin.
Phyllis Campbell, a life member of MCGN and a retired teacher, has offered to do whatever is needed for MCGN. She and Ngeni Mualchin are working together on writing projects.
Art Hanna, husband of Marian Hanna (Treasurer of MCGN), has written to the National Geographic Society (publisher of National Geographic Magazine) requesting them to consider Mizoram for a featured article.

MIZORAM ACTION RESEARCH
CENTER (MARC) REPORT
The date for Leadership Conference is being considered. Tentatively, October 1-13 has been set for the conference. Arrangements for the conference are being negotiated between the North American team members and responsible leaders of MARC-Mizoram.
Stuart Spani had just finished the video for MARC on their March 2000 visit to Mizoram.
THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH and THE SPIRIT OF ERROR
Christ is the subject of this month’s our reprint from the Moody Press publication entitled “The Spirit of Truth and The Spirit of Error-What God Has Said on Seven Fundamentals".
In the beginning was the Word….. and the Word was God. ( John 1:1)
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld His glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth”. (John 1:14)
“And if Christ is not raised, your faith is vain”. (I Corinthians 15:17)
Not Jehovah God. He was the first son that Jehovah God brought forth. (LG, p.32)
Michael the archangel is no other than the only-begotten Son of God, now Jesus Christ. (NH, p.30)
God raised him as a mighty immortal spirit Son. (LG, p.40)
Christ was not raised in flesh, but with a spiritual body. (MS, p.426)
Among the spirit children of Elohim, the firstborn was and is Jehovah or Jesus Christ, to whom all others are Junior. (Smith, GD, p.70)
By obedience and devotion He attained to the pinnacle of intelligence which ranked him as a God, even in his pre-existent state. (McConkie, MD, p.192)
Jesus Christ was the executive in the work of creation, aided by Michael (or Adam), Enock, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Peter, James, John, Joseph Smith, and others. (McConkie, MD, p.169)
The Krishna of the Hindu is the same as the Christos of the Greeks and Messiah of the Hebrews. (SB, p.22)
The Christ or perfect-man idea existing eternally in divine mind is the true spiritual, higher-self of every individual. (Metaphysical Bible Dictionary, p.150)
This same Christ lives within us that lived in Jesus. It is the part of Himself which God has put within us, which ever lives there…. Christ, within us is the “Beloved Son,” the same as it was in Jesus. (UTC, p.51)
